Kristy’s passion has always been hair—plain and simple. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Penn State University, she briefly worked in Human Resources. But less than a year in, she realized her heart wasn’t in it. She couldn’t ignore the pull toward her true calling: hair. In 2010, Kristy took a leap of faith, left her corporate job, and enrolled at Metro Beauty Academy. It was the best decision she ever made.

Behind the chair, Kristy sees every client as a canvas, and every head of hair as an opportunity to create art. She specializes in blonding and advanced extension techniques, including the Habit Extension Method and Keratin Bonds, and she loves crafting rich, dimensional shades for brunettes and coppers. But her favorite part of any appointment? That magical moment when she turns her client toward the mirror and watches their eyes light up with joy and confidence.

In 2018, Kristy’s passion grew into something bigger and she opened Harlow Hair & Beauty. Her vision was clear: to create a salon that not only delivered beautiful transformations, but also cultivated the next generation of stylists. Through mentorship, hands-on training, and guidance in marketing and business growth, Kristy helps her team build thriving careers of their own.

With over 15 years of experience and countless advanced classes under her belt, Kristy loves sharing her knowledge of color and extensions with both her clients and her team. Whether she’s creating seamless blends, teaching innovative techniques, or building lasting relationships, Kristy’s mission is always the same: to make people feel as beautiful and confident on the outside as they are on the inside.
